New site at Marina Bay to be released for development

1.1-ha reserve list site at Marina Bay excites market. This is the most prime office site that has come on the market since 2007, when the Asia Square sites were sold.

Cloud forests and waterfalls in high-rise

Marina One, a mixed development in Marina Bay will feature cloud forests and waterfalls in the buildings. Huge gardens with natural landscape will be incorporated into the mixed development comprising of commercial and residential space.

Marina Bay - now and then

The top photo was taken in the 70s. The photo below was taken from the same angle. The only visible buildings I can use as a reference in the old photo which can be found in the new photo is The Custom House and Clifford Pier, which are located at the bottom left of the photos. 

Visibly, we now have The Sail and The Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) forming part of the new Marina Bay Skyline.

I came across these interesting photos in the internet showing how the whole Marina Bay was carved out of the sea. The whole Marina area are made up of Marina East, Marina Center and Marina South. Marina Bay is enclose by Marina Center and Marina South.
